We are excited to welcome Siri Bohacek to the Teacup/Mt Hood Nordic Coaching Staff! Siri brings wonderful racing and coaching experience to our team and we are excited to have her onboard helping to coach a variety of programs during the upcoming season.
Siri grew up in Afton, MN- part of the St. Croix River Valley that has a huge cross country ski culture. She is new to Portland, having driven from Massachusetts to Portland the day after graduating. She has been loving the summer; spending time mountain biking, trail running, playing ultimate frisbee, and running bike camps for kids.
Fun facts: her baby sitter was Jessie Diggins, her mom was Jessie's high school ski coach, her college coach was Teacup's own Jason Lemieux while racing at Williams College. Siri can't wait to get on the snow at Teacup and we are fortunate to have her experience and voice join our community!
Siri is excited to work with the Youth, Pipeline, and Team skiers this winter. To celebrate and meet her, Juniors can participate in Dryland and Roller Ski Clinics for FREE in October.
