Come challenge yourself on the Teacup trails...just without snow! Join us for a trail running race on Sept 27, 2025. We have a 7.5K course set for adults and shorter distances for all ages.
Schedule:
- 9 AM 7.5K Start
- 9:05 AM (3K for age 12 and under) Start
- 10:00 AM 1.3K Kids Race followed by awards and celebration

The Teacup Tune-Up Trail Running Race will be held on the Teacup Ski Trail System. However, the event does not authorize exclusive use of the land and vehicles may be encountered during the event on Forest Service Roads.

Course Preview-
After leaving the cabin- there's the great views past the lake, though Nordic Junction, and around Tea Time. Although the ski trails are wide, this section runs more like single track through the bunch grass.
The descent to the bottom of the course is a mix of a loose, somewhat technical trail down Revenge, the smooth surface of Hood River Road, and Elkhorn is a particularly nice section of soft but stable two track.
Owly Way, the new Vista Ridge Running Connection, and Vista Ridge lead you back up to the high point and finish at the cabin. Its a tough climb to the high point on old forest roads, ski trails, and single track.
Some details-
- park at the main parking lot just as you would to ski. The trail has been mowed up to the cabin where check-in and the start/finish will be.
- We will have some light refreshments but it's a good idea to bring some water and snacks.
- The restrooms are open!
- Check in will start by 8 oclock.
- There will be one water station at the beginning of Owly Way.
- The course is clearly marked and we will have a brief racer meeting at 8:55
