2024 Trout Lake Summer Camp "Thunder and Lightning"

Mt Hood Nordic is proud to host the classic Trout Lake Summer Camp for U16 + athletes.  

Plan on camping for the week, please bring sleeping bag, tent, pad, plate, bowl and silverware. 

Intinery- general schedule- Breakfast 7-8 AM.  AM workout 9-12. PM workout 3-6. dinner 7PM. 

Monday 7/15-

arrive.  Shakeout afternoon trail run+ basic strength. 3-6 PM

meal plan-  Welcome dinner.  Hot dog feast, baked beans, salad, Watermelon

Tuesday 7/16- 

AM workout- run with poles+ bounding. 2-3 hours total 

PM workout-  Movement analysis and strength with Move Better Chiro. partners. Followed by skate agility roller ski

Meal plan- Breakfast- Oatmeal buffet, Lunch- self serve sandwiches plus snacks, Dinner- Kelly's steak bbq+ roasted peppers, onions, Potatoes+ salad

Wednesday 7/17-

AM workout- Classic roller ski - 2hrs total

PM workout- Ice cave adventure run 1-2 hrs

Meal Plan- Breakfast- Oatmeal buffet, Lunch- self serve sandwiches+snacks, Dinner- Spaghetti+ Salad. 

Thursday 7/18-

AM Workout- Skate 5K Tire Junction TT -2 hrs total

PM event- White Salmon river floating, swimming, and relaxing.   Evening self care session and goals. 

Meal Plan- Breakfast- Blueberry pancakes and bacon.  Lunch- cold cut Sammies+ plus snacks, snacks,snacks. Dinner-grilled chicken and pasta salad. 

Friday 7/19- 

Camp clean-up

Long adventure Roller ski/run. Road 22- PCT to Mosquito Lake (no noted mosquitos)

Goodbyes.

Meal plan-  Breakfast- Oatmeal or Leftover adventures.
