Teacup Nordic x XC Oregon PDX Fall Workouts are all-age, all-ability workouts on four Saturday mornings from mid-October until mid-November at Portland-area city parks. Workouts are 90 minutes long and take place rain or shine. Most sessions will be led by coaches and athletes from the XC Oregon race program.
You do NOT need to attend all or most sessions -- just come whenever you can. Please spread the word and let's have the biggest turnout ever! Purchase a 2020-21 Teacup Nordic Season Pass before attending your first workout and make a donation to XCO to help cover the travel and administrative expenses for setting up and leading these workouts.
Every workout includes a menu of ski-specific strength training, ski imitation exercises, technique drills, and more. No special equipment is required and you will not have to run to participate. You go as easy or hard as you like. We stay in small areas so no one has to wait and no one gets left behind. The program is suitable for beginner recreational skiers thru expert racers.

COVID Specific Mitigations For Fall 2020
--> If at any point this fall public health warnings, park access, or group leader logistics prevent holding safe and successful sessions, on-line videos will be available for all Fall Workout participants to use for your own individual workouts.
--> All participants are asked to purchase a Teacup Nordic season pass and make a donation to XCO online prior to attending your first Fall Workout.
--> All participants agree to self-monitor health status prior to and the morning of every session. Participants agree not to attend any session when displaying any health symptoms for COVID-19 or cold/flu noted on OHA or CDC websites.
--> Face coverings will be required to be worn covering both mouth & nose throughout all sessions whenever participants are not actively engaged in physical exertion.
--> All participants agree to maintain at least 6 foot physical spacing at all times from all participants except other same-household participants.
--> No shared touch equipment will be allowed for Fall 2020 Fall Workouts. Participants wishing to use mats, double pole cords, ski poles, etc. will need to bring their own equipment and monitor exclusive use for themselves and/or same-household individuals.
